The Programming Chair leads a committee of MATA members in the process of seeking, initiating, organizing, promoting, and executing meet-ups and relevant, culturally-responsive programs per year, each geared toward the benefit, education, and professional development of the MATA membership and greater art therapy community.
MATA's ideal Programming Chair would be diplomatic, flexible, and organized with strong delegation, communication, and networking skills. They would also be a creative leader with the ability to encourage individuals, promote teamwork, and advocate on the behalf of art therapy. |
