28th Annual ARTSY Exhibition 2026
|
MATA invites the community to experience the 28th Annual ARTSY Exhibition, a vibrant celebration of youth creativity, resilience, and self-expression. This annual showcase highlights artwork from young artists connected to art therapy programs and community organizations across the region, offering a powerful glimpse into their stories through visual art.
Join us for a special Sneak Peek Open House on Friday, May 1, from 6:00–8:00 PM, where guests can enjoy an evening of art, connection, and community. The exhibition officially continues throughout May, with a featured Open House Reception on Saturday, May 16, from 1:00–4:00 PM. The exhibit will be open to the public every Saturday in May (Noon–4:00 PM), providing multiple opportunities to engage with this meaningful collection. Guests are encouraged to explore the artwork, connect with local art therapy professionals, and support the creative voices of youth in our community. Hosted at Jacoby Arts Center (208 State Street, Alton, IL, 62002), ARTSY is made possible through collaboration with local schools, counseling organizations, and art therapy advocates, including members of the Missouri Art Therapy Association. Come witness the transformative power of art and the stories that deserve to be seen and heard. |
