Announcing Sandtray Workshop

Using Sandtrays in Art Therapy
presented by
Jane Seelig LPC, ATR-BC, CPT-S

We will explore concepts, set up supplies, themes and history of sandtray. We will cover the stages of sandtray, developmental issues and approaches to a variety of treatment populations. Each participant will be able to complete a group and individual sand tray to explore the possibilities.

Objectives:
  1. Learn what different theorist provided for the sand tray work focusing on developmental issues
  2. Some ways to begin non directive inquiry
  3. Practical considerations
  4. Learn about your own personal symbolism related to individual sand tray experience
  5. Learn about the stages in sand tray and their potential meaning in treatment
  6. Resources for sand tray

This will be an intimate workshop with up to 8 people at a time.
Limited spots—first come first serve and priority given to MATA members
February 12 and February 26 from 10am-2pm (two separate registrations)
$25 MATA members | $45 for non-MATA members
